Energizer, a global leader in batteries and lighting products, had the Salsify CommerceXM platform but wasn’t using it fully — many products and retailers weren’t connected, so online product pages weren’t as effective as they could be. With a massive catalog and many retail partners, the company needed a strategic, prioritized approach to avoid an overwhelming rollout.

Energizer narrowed the scope to high-priority retailers and products, then leveraged Salsify’s syndication (direct channels and custom templates) to streamline distribution. The effort grew its Salsify library to 25,000 product records and enabled syndication across 30 channels, making updates faster, improving content production and reporting, and delivering more consistent, engaging online customer experiences.
