American Bath Group Uses Salsify Workflows To Scale Product Experiences for Thousands of Products

American Bath Group (ABG), a leading bathware manufacturer with 30+ brands selling thousands of SKUs across commercial, wholesale, ecommerce, and retail channels, faced inconsistent, scattered product data and slow, manual onboarding processes. With different brands using ad-hoc methods or partial PIM adoption, global updates and retailer expansion were inefficient and error-prone, and ABG lacked structured ownership and enforcement of data standards.

ABG implemented Salsify as a central repository, introduced standardized "data contracts," automated end-to-end workflows, and delivered extensive training (8+ live/online sessions and 30+ guides) to enforce accountability. The changes drove measurable gains: SKU onboarding increased 4x year-over-year without added headcount, 15,000 SKUs met data standards in the first year, and shipping weight completeness rose from about 15% to over 80% across 140,000 products, positioning ABG to scale product experiences across channels.
