Zayo is a global bandwidth infrastructure provider with 81,500 route miles and over 1,600 employees that needed to simplify and scale the complex process of selling, provisioning, and managing telecom services. After acquiring VoicePipe — and its use of Salesforce — Zayo recognized the opportunity to unify customer data, speed sales cycles, and enable self-service while keeping operations highly connected and mobile.

Using the Salesforce Platform Zayo built dozens of custom apps, most notably Tranzact, a graphical self-service tool that shows fiber maps, generates quotes, and ties directly into contracts and DocuSign. The integrated solution cut quote-to-contract time, freed the sales team to pursue more opportunities, improved renewals and customer satisfaction, and drove company-wide adoption of mobile and collaboration tools like Chatter.
