Westfield increases sales with a mobile app built on Salesforce Platform

Westfield, which owns and operates 100+ shopping centers worldwide, needed a better way for its specialty leasing team to sell kiosks, temporary stores, sponsorships and events. Sales reps were often on the road using outdated, fragmented tools and handwritten maps, which slowed deal-making and made it hard to present up-to-date inventory and site details to prospective tenants.

The company built a custom lease-management mobile and web app on the Salesforce Platform that gives reps interactive mall maps, availability by timeframe, demographic filters, cost and proposal generation, and Chatter collaboration with local teams. The app also lets prospects review proposals and video tours online — speeding approvals, improving cross-selling and communication, and cutting the sales cycle from months to days.
