Teach For America is a national nonprofit that recruits and develops teachers and leaders to expand educational opportunity for children in low-income communities. With 11,000 corps members, a 32,000-strong alumni network, and 2,500 staff across 48 regions, the organization needed a way to capture complex relationship data, coordinate across partners and business units, improve case management for applications, and monitor public conversations about education — all while replacing legacy systems that slowed fieldwork and outreach.
By adopting Salesforce and the Salesforce1 Mobile App, Teach For America centralized data, added real-time analytics and dashboards, and introduced social listening tools to track and join education conversations. The result: faster, mobile recruitment and response workflows, improved case management and alumni engagement, the ability to react to social conversations in the moment, and more efficient, coordinated outreach toward their mission of educational equity.
