A Salesforce Case Study
Stonewall Kitchen, a specialty foods company that grew from a 1991 farmers’ market stall into a business selling 450+ products online, in stores, and through thousands of retailers, needed to manage rapid growth, accelerate innovation and offload infrastructure responsibilities. To address those challenges the company migrated from a custom platform to Salesforce Commerce Cloud in early 2016, prioritizing a fast time-to-launch using out-of-the-box capabilities like the Storefront Reference Architecture.
After launch Stonewall Kitchen partnered with Salesforce’s Retail Practice to develop and execute growth and optimization strategies, leveraging benchmarking, site assessment, mobile optimization, UX reviews and heat mapping. Those targeted improvements—rooted in peer benchmarking and user insights—helped the team refine the shopping experience and maximize conversion rates.
