Reitmans provides a richer shopping experience with Commerce Cloud

Reitmans (Canada) Limited, a publicly traded apparel retailer with more than 900 stores and six distinct brands (including Reitmans, RW&CO., Penningtons and Addition Elle), needed a flexible, scalable ecommerce platform to deliver a unified 360-degree shopping experience. The company’s challenge was to support multiple branded sites, handle seasonal traffic peaks, and integrate online channels with CRM, ERP and order‑management systems without undermining in‑store sales.

Reitmans replatformed to Commerce Cloud, enabling rapid rollout of five major sites (English and French) in about 12 months, integration with back‑office systems, and new features such as ship‑to‑store. The move reduced time-to-market and third‑party dependency, lowered development costs, increased customer store visits and loyalty, unlocked new online revenue streams, and created a foundation for future growth and innovation.
