Facing the challenge of turning emerging tools into usable, mission-ready capabilities, NCI needed faster collaboration, better data context, and ways to move beyond hype to measurable value without disrupting critical operations.

NCI built a cloud-based innovation management platform on Salesforce—using a Sales Cloud-based GovCon Capture for bid and capture work and Community Cloud for subject-matter collaboration—to standardize processes, automate task-order management, integrate third-party systems, and surface institutional knowledge. The platform cut a six-month task to about 15 minutes for roughly 15,000 users, improved visibility for leaders, sped decision-making, reduced infrastructure overhead, and freed technical staff to focus on cybersecurity and mission priorities, driving growth, innovation, and stronger client outcomes.
