Duha Group is a 3rd‑generation, family‑run manufacturer in Winnipeg with 60 years’ experience in color marketing and matching for paint companies worldwide. Facing a logistics bottleneck — slow, fragmented information flow between customers and the shop floor — and pressure from industry consolidation to deepen relationships with fewer, larger customers, Duha needed a way to engage clients more directly and keep orders moving efficiently.
Duha deployed Salesforce (Chatter, Sales Cloud and the Lightning Platform) to invite customers into private collaboration workspaces, automate approvals and track orders with a custom "Charters" object shown on plant displays. The change eliminated 17 spreadsheets in 2.5 weeks and about 125,000 emails a year, increased operational transparency, sped information flow across employees and customers, and improved customer engagement and satisfaction.
