DMI Finance is a digital‑only lender in India (founded 2008) that partners with fintechs, wallets and retailers to offer credit to individuals and small businesses. With fewer than 100 people in its digital lending business, DMI needed a technology backbone to meet customer expectations for near‑instant credit decisions, enable partners with real‑time APIs, and scale operations without a traditional large staff.
DMI built on the Salesforce platform—using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com, Heroku and MuleSoft—to automate 30–40 API‑led KYC and verification checks, feed a real‑time decision engine, and manage servicing and partner integrations. The result: credit decisions for 95% of applications in under 60 seconds, the platform handling over 1 million applications a month with a small team, dramatically higher throughput per license, faster customer service, and partners adopting the same stack.
