Dealstruck grows by helping small businesses find healthy financing

Dealstruck is a San Diego–based startup that helps small and midsize businesses secure loans and lines of credit when they don’t qualify for traditional financing. Founded in 2013, the 50‑person company has lent more than $100 million, but as it scaled from a two‑founder team it struggled to support a growing sales and underwriting organization using a patchwork of web apps—lacking unified data views, reporting, dashboards and the operational visibility needed to win customers and manage growth.

Dealstruck moved its operations onto Salesforce and the AppExchange—using Pardot for lead capture and nurturing, an InsideSales.com app to qualify opportunities, Service Cloud and Cloud Lending for loan servicing, and Community Cloud for broker collaboration. The platform let the company scale quickly (reaching ~50 employees in two years), reduce development and security overhead, improve reporting and conversion tracking, and save money compared with building and maintaining its own systems.
