Cosmo Films, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of thermal lamination and BOPP films and a supplier to brands like Coca‑Cola, PepsiCo and Nestlé, saw rapid growth (US$249M turnover in 2015–16 and a 40% rise in production capacity) expose weaknesses in its customer and sales operations. Much of sales and service ran on email and spreadsheets, causing slow responses, lost visibility into customer interactions and leads, and eroding customer trust.
Cosmo implemented Salesforce (Community Cloud and Sales Cloud) to provide a customer portal for order tracking and photo‑backed enquiries, centralised lead tracking and mobile access, and real‑time sales performance analytics. The change reduced service calls, improved transparency and customer confidence, streamlined lead management, boosted sales revenue, and gave management timely performance insights while enabling scalable expansion into Japan and Korea.
