Code.org is a nonprofit that grew from a viral video into a major force for K–12 computer science education, reaching millions of students and partnering with hundreds of school districts. As the organization scaled, a small fundraising and partnerships team struggled to capture, share, and act on donor and teacher contact information and to communicate at scale across a database of millions.
Code.org implemented Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack and Pardot to consolidate constituent data, automate online giving and reporting, build segmented email lists, and track engagement with A/B testing and analytics. The tools let the two-person fundraising team manage a large donor pipeline, keep stakeholders informed, and run targeted communications efficiently—freeing up time to focus on expanding computer science education.
