College for America at Southern New Hampshire University (CfA) is redesigning higher education for working adults, but faced a tight timeline and complex operational needs—Brian Peddle, CTO, was asked to launch an associate degree in four months and needed a fast, scalable way to manage student data and coordinate recruiting, student success, marketing, and IT. The challenge was to create a seamless, competency-based learning experience that could scale quickly while improving access, cost, and quality.
CfA built its competency-based LMS and backend business processes on the Salesforce Platform, adopting a Connected Campus approach to give staff a 360-degree view of each student. Integrations and Pardot enabled a new initiative to launch in three weeks, while project tracking, reviewer workflows, an early-warning system, Knowledge articles, Live Agent chat, and case management improved student support and outcomes—positioning CfA to rapidly scale enrollment and advance its mission to disrupt higher education.
