In 2014 Wikia implemented the Krux DMP to consolidate all audience data and enable advanced segmentation and monetization. This allowed Wikia to launch an audience-aware product strategy and command significantly higher CPMs across display and mobile—examples include a 220% lift for 728x90 inventory, a 269% lift for 250x300, and a 93% lift overall—while increasing relevance and engagement for both advertisers and fans.
