LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria, a six-decade Cincinnati-based regional chain, had lots of online, mobile, and in-app customer data but lacked a clear strategy to use it. Their basic, one-size-fits-all email program didn’t differentiate loyal guests from occasional buyers, limiting repeat orders and revenue growth.
Working with HyperDrive and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, LaRosa’s used AMPscript to segment guests into “good, better, best” personas and built about 100 personalized email journeys (including a 14-message regional onboarding). Combined with Mobile Studio push and a customizable online profile for communication preferences, the program drove an average of four additional orders per targeted guest, higher order values, and millions in incremental revenue from top customers.
