Case Study: PUMA achieves faster mobile performance and higher conversion rates with Salesforce Commerce Cloud

A Salesforce Commerce Cloud Case Study

Preview of the Puma Case Study

PUMA leverages the power of Salesforce to relaunch its mobile sites and speed past customer expectations

PUMA, the global sportswear brand, faced a mobile-first challenge: with mobile traffic approaching 70% in some markets, shoppers weren’t converting and peak demand could overwhelm sites. The company needed a faster, more consistent mobile experience that supported account creation, saved carts across devices, and represented a large product catalog while surviving traffic spikes from product launches.

PUMA re‑architected and relaunched mobile sites in about 24 markets using Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s Storefront Reference Architecture with continuous integration and multi-country/multi-currency support. The relaunch delivered a 35% faster render and 69% faster full-page load, product images loading in under two seconds, and conversion rising from under 1% to nearly 1.5%; the platform now handles high traffic spikes smoothly and enables faster, data-driven iterations.
