How OVS delivers innovative, omni-channel experiences both in and out of the store

OVS, Italy’s leading fashion retailer, set out to build a seamless omni-channel experience—what it calls the “omni-customer”—by integrating online, mobile and in-store touchpoints. The challenge was to use technology to reach customers wherever they shop and to deliver cutting-edge, boundary-free experiences such as virtual fitting rooms, interactive store kiosks, and a glossy mobile app.

By deploying Salesforce B2C Commerce (Commerce Cloud) OVS launched shoppable content, virtual store tours, barcode-scanning and beacon-enabled mobile features, interactive kiosks and “magic” fitting rooms, plus click-and-collect in 500 stores and real-time inventory management. Results included an 81% increase in site traffic, a 44% uplift in conversions, 40% higher spend from click-and-collect shoppers and more than 125,000 app downloads, positioning OVS as an omni-channel retail leader.
