As B2B digital commerce grew, Godiva faced an inefficient, error-prone process where customers submitted spreadsheet orders that customer service manually entered; the company needed B2B-specific ecommerce capabilities to support large, complex orders and tailor offerings to each account.
Godiva implemented Commerce Cloud’s B2B features and launched 78 dedicated microsites, adding account-based price books, permission controls, batch uploads, split-shipment support, and sales-rep order taking. Corporate clients can now place large, multi-address orders with automatic volume discounts directly online, automation lets small teams manage and generate more accounts and tailor content by market and season, and Godiva plans to continue refining and expanding the program.
