Tools of the Trade, a UK distributor established in 1989 that stocks over 2,500 products across 19 brands, turned to sales-i to address two core challenges: providing field salespeople with mobile access to CRM data and enabling easy, secure sharing of customer reports without manually creating them. Their previous CRM could not be used on tablets, leaving the team without a reliable data feed while on the road.

sales-i implemented its iOS/Android mobile app and a dedicated “customer mode” to deliver real-time data to the six-person sales team and produce customer-facing reports that hide sensitive information. The result is better-prepared sales calls, quicker admin between meetings that improves CRM accuracy and saves time, long-term adoption (six years) and expansion to purchase-i, all supporting Tools of the Trade’s high service performance, including a 99% on-time-in-full level.
