J. Coates Limited, a UK transport and distribution group, was constrained by a paper-based system that couldn’t keep pace with rapid growth and didn’t integrate sales, marketing and customer service. When the company relocated offices it partnered with Concentrix to implement Sage CRM to automate processes, improve customer knowledge and increase the effectiveness of its sales team.
Sage CRM delivered sales-force automation and a single view of opportunities across J. Coates’s three business lines (driver training, relief driver service and warehousing/distribution), with real-time forecasting, pipeline visibility, callback and task scheduling, and campaign management. The system improved resource management and marketing effectiveness, helped resolve customer queries faster and contributed to an increase in profits, with plans to roll Sage CRM out to other offices.
