Nissan Motorsport, the Australian V8 Supercar team that returned to racing in 2013, had rapidly grown a portfolio of more than 50 sponsors and was managing partner information across spreadsheets. That ad hoc approach risked missed opportunities, inconsistent communications and inefficiency, so General Manager Nick Ryan sought a single, user-friendly system to centralize sponsor relations and sales activity.
In March 2014 Nissan Motorsport implemented Sage CRM as a central portal for communications, contract management and sales tracking. The system eliminated overlapping opportunities, provided reminders and automated reporting, and made key management information easy to prepare—resulting in more efficient team workflows, consistent partner communications and streamlined sales processes.
