A Sage CRM Case Study
Tilney, a UK wealth-management firm and the country’s fourth-largest independent provider, faced increasing competition and tighter regulation that made innovation and closer customer relationships essential. The company needed a more flexible CRM than its legacy Goldmine system to manage interactions with clients and third-party intermediaries (IFAs, accountants, solicitors) and to support a new business strategy and expansion into markets such as SIPP.
Tilney trialled the hosted Sage CRM, then installed an in-house implementation to enable deeper customisation. The solution delivered a fast, seamless cutover, improved performance and broad user access, and lets Tilney track interactions, measure marketing effectiveness, segment audiences and tailor communications—supporting its growth and relationship-driven strategy.
