Federated Farmers of New Zealand, a member-funded organization representing 18,000 farmers and rural families, needed a centralized way to manage subscriptions, invoicing, renewals and member communications across its regional network. Economic pressures and a move to pro forma billing exposed fragmented records and manual data entry, and the federation required a CRM that integrated with its Sage 300 ERP and supported remote lead capture.

Federated Farmers implemented Sage CRM integrated with Sage 300 ERP, upgraded both systems and added a pro forma invoicing module; about 50 staff now use the platform to record interactions, automate renewals and match invoices with receipts. The solution eliminated manual entry and errors, allowed the organization to issue 12,600 invoices in January, streamlined billing processes and delivered richer, real-time financial insight.
