Distribuidora Joan unifies its management processes with Sage CRM

Distribuidora Joan is a Catalan manufacturer and distributor for the hospitality sector, operating a 10,000 m² finished-goods warehouse with 75 staff, 3,000 clients and €18M turnover across the Iberian Peninsula and parts of Europe. The company needed better stock control and production-order management plus clearer visibility of its commercial area — sales-force activity, client segmentation, campaigns and results — to optimise procurement and operations.

To address this, Distribuidora Joan implemented an integrated Sage CRM and Sage ERP solution (plus a customised e‑commerce module) in 2011–2012 with partner Sistemes d’Organització; about 22 users now leverage CRM dashboards and the Analysis Centre while ERP handles invoicing and multi-warehouse stock location. The change delivered real-time data for faster decision-making, improved procurement, sales and dispatch processes, precise warehouse/shelf tracking and streamlined invoicing, materially boosting operational efficiency.
