A Sage CRM Case Study
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC), the statutory authority that runs the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, struggled with a CRM that could not share data with its financial system. That disconnect caused double handling, occasional data discrepancies and limited visibility across the organisation—problems that were particularly acute for a government agency with large corporate-sales revenue and strict financial reporting requirements.
AGPC deployed Sage CRM integrated with Sage 300 ERP in a phased rollout managed by partner Enabling, centralising corporate customer, sales and sponsorship data so sales entries flow directly into invoicing and the general ledger. The integrated solution replaced separate CRM and finance packages and many spreadsheets, improving efficiency, reducing errors and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting—outcomes the AGPC describes as a very positive early result.
