Neoway Business Solutions, a retail analytics and CPG consulting firm, was tasked by a major beverage retailer to optimize product mixes across restaurants, bars, and stores by modeling each location’s shopper profile. Their machine-learning models hit a performance ceiling and needed additional location-based audience signals to cross a key accuracy threshold, so Neoway licensed SafeGraph’s Patterns foot-traffic and store visitor insights.
Neoway integrated two SafeGraph Patterns features—the most common census block groups visitors come from and the Android vs. iOS device breakdown—into its models, which pushed predictive accuracy past the client’s threshold and allowed Neoway to close a significant deal within weeks of licensing SafeGraph data. The lift also unlocked new use cases: Neoway plans to use SafeGraph Patterns to estimate store sales volume and analyze visitor brand affinity to win more business.
