A SafeGraph Case Study
Dosh is a card-linked offer platform that gives consumers automatic cash back and provides brands measurable attribution to individual transactions. To deliver purchase-based rewards Dosh needed highly accurate store location data, but card-network feeds and other sources were often out of date or incomplete (large retailers can have 10–20% missing locations), causing missed rewards, higher customer service contacts, and slow merchant onboarding — so Dosh evaluated location data vendors including SafeGraph and its SafeGraph Places product.
Dosh integrated SafeGraph Places to improve venue accuracy; SafeGraph’s data uncovered 90 store locations other providers missed and identified about 100 misattributed or closed locations. By using SafeGraph, Dosh matched stores more accurately to card network IDs, cut merchant onboarding from weeks to days, reduced customer service contacts, improved in-app store mapping, and decreased time-to-revenue.
