Provar, a leading Salesforce test automation tool, found that users had to frequently switch between its desktop application and the Test Builder plugin to access advanced functions, creating a disjointed and inefficient workflow. The existing interface was also visually cluttered and lacked a clear user journey, which could be confusing for new users.

Sabio's solution involved a complete UI redesign based on Google’s Material design principles, which modernized the interface and improved accessibility. They simplified the iconography, reduced visual clutter, and, most importantly, added create and edit functionality directly into the Test Builder. This eliminated the need to switch back to the desktop app for most complex tasks. The redesign was evaluated using the LEMER methodology, resulting in measurable improvements across key metrics like learnability, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
