A RWS Case Study
Allianz Global Assistance — a network of 33 operational divisions across 34 countries with nearly 13,000 employees serving customers in 58+ languages — needed a way to manage and distribute corporate content consistently while letting local teams adapt communications for country-specific events. The challenge was to provide timely, accurate information across many subsidiaries, websites and channels without duplicating effort or losing a unified brand message.
The company adopted SDL Tridion Sites (initially for the intranet, then rolled out to public sites) to create a centralized “blueprint” model from headquarters that allows global content to be published centrally and reused or adapted locally. Since 2009 all 28 subsidiary institutional sites run on the platform, generating about 3 million visits a year, supporting 100–200 new or updated pages daily, managing 5,000+ documents and 18,000+ images, and enabling new country sites to be launched in days.
