Wärtsilä implemented RWS’s Language Weaver, a secure machine-translation solution with batch PDF support and format preservation, requiring little customization and minimal user training. Initial translation time fell from about two weeks to one–two days, freeing up to 40% more time for critical analysis, scaling to millions of characters processed, and improving bid competitiveness—while final customer-facing proposals remain human-reviewed for quality.
