Babel DGT is a Mexico City–based translation agency (seven staff plus a network of freelancers) founded by Rodrigo Vasquez that specializes in patent translation and has evolved into a process re‑engineering consultancy. Babel DGT introduced a "pre‑translator" role and adopted SDL Trados Studio, GroupShare and SDL Language Cloud MT to pre‑format documents, filter non‑translatable elements, reuse translation memories and apply adaptive machine translation.
