USAF consolidates tech pubs into a single enterprise-wide system

USAF needed to consolidate three Automated Technical Order Systems and two Technical Order systems into one enterprise-wide Technical Order Authoring and Publishing system. Multiple IT systems, databases, and applications had created silos that prevented data and personnel sharing, leading to inefficient processes. USAF selected RWS and its Contenta Publishing Suite after a 12-month evaluation against 103 requirements.

RWS implemented the Contenta Publishing Suite to unify tech pubs into a single enterprise system. The result was a streamlined TOAP environment and a reported savings of $26 million over five years by replacing five systems with one enterprise-wide solution.
