As it expanded internationally, the company faced the challenge of quickly scaling its English-trained language models to handle customer inquiries in multiple languages without rebuilding models for each locale.
Next IT integrated SDL Machine Translation to translate user queries into English for its existing natural language engine and then translate answers back into the user’s language in real time. This approach enabled fast, accurate multilingual support—more than 16 million questions handled with a success rate above 90%—allowing Next IT to deliver personalized global customer experiences using its English content.
