A RWS Case Study
Nexenta Systems, a rapidly growing provider of software-defined storage founded in 2005, needed to build a localization program from the ground up to support international expansion after experiencing explosive growth and new funding. With no existing localization infrastructure, Nexenta hired an experienced L10N manager who faced the challenge of creating a scalable, auditable process that would overcome language barriers and support future growth.
Nexenta implemented SDL Trados Studio and SDL WorldServer (SaaS) plus bespoke product and process training, giving translators access to centralized translation memories and terminology and enabling structured in-country linguistic and functional reviews. The result is a more productive, controllable localization workflow that improves translation assets as work progresses, provides oversight and auditing capabilities, and scales to meet Nexenta’s long-term global needs.
