Denver International Airport (DIA), already known for strong customer service, wanted to further improve how it engages stressed travelers before and during their journeys. To do this it partnered with consultancy SH&E and digital agency SapientNitro to modernize its website and create a mobile app that would deliver timely, relevant information and open new marketing opportunities.
SapientNitro built the multichannel IONOS platform — the flydenver.com site and the goHow Airport app — using SDL Tridion Sites as a single CMS to manage web and mobile content. The solution delivers real‑time parking, flight/gate and security wait data, concessions and weather, targeted promotions and user reviews, giving travelers more control over their time at the airport while enabling precise, location‑and‑time-based marketing for concessionaires and advertisers.
