Reaching New Heights with a Consistent Web Platform

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), Europe’s largest conservation charity with over a million members, needed a more manageable, consistent web presence to inform, inspire and mobilize supporters. Its site had become fragmented across six bespoke systems, creating governance, navigation and content-management challenges as the organization and its digital needs grew.

RSPB implemented SDL Tridion Sites, using BluePrinting, templating and .NET community integration to unify content, enable non‑technical contributors and reuse assets across web and intranet. The new platform let a small team relaunch the site in weeks despite tens of thousands of pages and media, improving consistency, speed of publishing, agility and audience engagement while widening contributor access and strengthening brand control.
