A RWS Case Study
Rabobank, a Dutch banking group of about 341 local banks serving nine million customers, faced a growing need to maintain a consistent, scalable online presence across internet, intranet and extranet channels while handling rapidly increasing content volume and frequent updates. The bank needed a way for non-technical staff to create, localize and manage content quickly without relying on IT, while preserving brand consistency and streamlining approval processes.
Rabobank implemented SDL Tridion Sites, leveraging its BluePrinting technology and workflow engine to let editors add, change and publish content independently, reuse components across sites, and localize pages easily. The incremental rollout created a global network of sites, freed technical resources for other priorities, supported a Personal Portal for 300+ branches (200 authors today, projected to scale toward 35,000), and enabled linked marketing efforts (Outbound Email), resulting in faster updates, tighter content control and measurable marketing improvements.
