A RWS Case Study
Helsinki-based business law firm Castrén & Snellman was handling a growing volume of English–Finnish translations as many clients operate internationally. Translations were often done ad hoc by lawyers and assistants, which led to inconsistency, extra work and confidentiality risks during peaks in demand.
The firm built a full-time in-house translation team and adopted RWS (formerly SDL) tools—Trados Studio, GroupShare and MultiTerm—to centralize translation memories and preferred terminology. That approach delivered faster turnarounds, consistent high-quality output, greater reuse of prior translations, and the ability to manage urgent, confidential projects internally.
