LANDEXX is a 30+-year German translation and localization agency with nine offices, about 70 staff and ~1,600 freelance linguists. The company struggled with inconsistent terminology and wasted time because customers often made changes during review that weren’t communicated back to the agency, so translation memories and termbases stayed out of date and subsequent jobs used incorrect wording.

LANDEXX deployed SDL Trados GroupShare with the browser-based Online Editor, so customers review directly against the latest TM (and soon server-based termbases) and approved edits update memories in real time; the platform also integrates with Plunet for smoother end-to-end workflows. The change sped up projects by about 30%, improved capture of customer edits, extended CAT benefits to freelancers who hadn’t used a tool, strengthened customer relationships and reduced project‑manager effort.
