Military command & control aircraft delivers multi-spec IETPs

A major military aircraft contractor supporting an airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft needed to move its technical publications to an international standard for better content reuse, but had several false starts building an S1000D configuration on its own. After years of using RWS Contenta and XPP to manage MIL-SPEC data, the contractor looked to RWS for the right IETP technology.

RWS helped the contractor expand its existing Contenta Publishing Suite solution with LiveContent to deliver multi-spec IETPs in both MIL-STD-38784B and S1000D. The result was a successful rollout of IETPs that put the program back on track and supported efficient reuse of content across specifications.
