A RWS Case Study
Kaspersky Lab, a global cyber‑security company operating in almost 200 countries and protecting hundreds of millions of users, faced a surge in marketing content needing localization into up to 39 languages. Its small in‑house translation team could not keep up with rapidly increasing volumes and simultaneous campaigns, so the company sought a scalable, reliable localization solution.
Kaspersky implemented SDL Translation Management and SDL Tridion Sites to automate workflows, leverage translation memory and terminology management, and centrally manage global campaigns with local relevance. The platform handled nearly 7 million words, cut project turnaround times, improved visibility and control, and delivered substantial savings—about 58% cost reduction from reuse (and an average price drop per word of ~46%)—while improving consistency and quality.
