A RWS Case Study
The Republic of San Marino’s Department of Foreign Affairs relies on a four-person translation team to handle all government translation needs—mainly between Italian and English, plus French and German. With growing demand for fast, high-quality work and no outsourcing, the team needed a way to maintain responsiveness and consistent terminology while managing both large projects and urgent requests.
They implemented SDL Trados Studio, SDL Trados GroupShare Cloud and AdaptiveMT to share a single translation memory and about 20 termbases, and to provide machine-translation suggestions directly in the workflow. The result: translations are 60–70% faster, translators can focus on quality rather than file handling, and the team maintains the responsiveness that keeps internal customers returning.
