Gilson Graphics, a Grand Rapids–based printing and marketing services firm with 170 employees, produces complex, highly branded print and digital collateral for clients across industries. Managing thousands of assets and frequent updates (prices, part numbers, graphics, links) in multi-format, multi-channel outputs had been manual, time-consuming and error-prone, which hurt employee productivity, service levels and turnaround times.

Gilson implemented SDL XPP to automate composition and publishing—consolidating legacy systems into a single instance and adding Development/Test environments—and now produces more than 50,000 unique pages (48–800 pages each) for marquee customers. The solution delivered scalable, high-quality throughput, rapid single-source updates, dramatic reductions in update cost and effort, and improved customer retention and competitive differentiation.
