Fashion Days, the leading fashion e‑commerce retailer in Central and Eastern Europe with 7 million customers and more than 500,000 products, began as a flash‑sales site but needed to transition to a full retail model. The company faced challenges modernizing its site frontend, improving search, navigation and product filtering, localizing content across markets and speeding up time‑consuming, inconsistent translation workflows.
Working with SDL’s eCommerce Optimization and Trados translation solutions, Fashion Days implemented hierarchical search, advanced filtering and dynamic product ranking, integrated easily with its mobile app via API, and centralized translation with a translation memory. The changes drove a 40% increase in overall conversion rates (with filtered searches converting at twice the rate), a 50% rise in time on site, doubled translation speed and efficiency, and lifted customer satisfaction (NPS) to 60.
