A large international financial institution faced the challenge of securely translating 15,000 documents (20 million words) from multiple languages into English to meet the strict deadlines of an official investigation. The project's main hurdles were the immense volume, the variety of file formats, and the need for absolute confidentiality, which required all work to be done on-site. The institution partnered with RWS for a machine translation and quality check solution.

RWS implemented its SDL MultiTrans Translation Management System on the client's premises to ensure security and deployed a dedicated on-site team. This solution enabled the fast and confidential processing of documents. As a result, RWS securely translated over 10 million words in less than three months, with the first 6.5 million priority words delivered in about one month, allowing the client to successfully meet its investigation deadlines.
