SDL Content Production Services partnered with Canon Europe’s marketing organization to meet a sudden surge in video demand: 37 source videos needed scaling into 27 languages, creating over 500 localized outputs (subtitles and on-screen supers) with a mid‑summer kickoff and tight turnaround across multiple time zones and creative agencies. This was the largest-volume, fastest-turnaround video localization task SDL had handled with Canon to date.

SDL centralized and scaled capacity—pulling in Media Services, two PMOs, 27 dedicated in‑house translation teams, 50 Content Production Services staff across 33 offices and streamlined workflows with Canon’s agencies—to produce assets often in under a week. All deliverables were completed on time, Canon praised the quick turnaround, several major product launches went live, and SDL is continuing to support Canon’s ongoing localization strategy.
