Repsol, a global oil and gas company operating in 37 countries with over 24,000 employees, needed a scalable, secure web presence that could deliver localized, multimedia content in multiple languages while preserving brand consistency. Its legacy dynamic pages were costly and slow to update, and the company required faster publishing, delegated local control and comprehensive multilingual support.
Working with RWS (formerly SDL) and Accenture, Repsol implemented Tridion Sites (DXD and BluePrinting) with automated translation workflows, centralized security with delegated permissions and easy editor publishing. The new portal supports seven languages (≈130,000 pages per language, 3.5M+ translated words), attracts 8M+ visits/month and 100M page views, improved accessibility and update speed, and earned a “Best Commercial Website” award.
