Case Study: Casio achieves 100% increase in online visitors with RWS multilingual website localization

A RWS Case Study

Preview of the Casio Case Study

100% increase in online visitors following multilingual website localization

Casio, the longstanding electronics maker known for calculators, watches and musical instruments, needed to scale its web presence to support rapid overseas expansion. Its existing CMS and regional workflows made multilingual publishing slow and duplicative, and the company required a single partner able to handle large‑scale translation, CMS implementation and localization consulting across many languages and devices.

Working with SDL, Casio migrated to a new multilingual CMS with an XML workflow, had roughly 10,000 pages per language translated and underwent thorough multilingual UI testing and project management support. Within six months new language sites went live, smartphone display issues were resolved, and online visitors more than doubled year‑on‑year (with especially strong growth in Korea); the G‑SHOCK site now supports 14 languages and Casio plans further language rollouts.
