London Marathon Events Signs Six Year Deal With Rosterfy To Manage Volunteer and Event Workforce Staff

London Marathon Events (LME) has signed a six-year deal with Rosterfy to manage and engage its volunteer workforce. Facing a labour‑intensive, spreadsheet‑based process and the need to recruit and manage more than 8,000 volunteers each year (including over 4,000 for the Virgin Money London Marathon alone), LME selected Rosterfy’s event workforce management platform to streamline volunteer operations across its full event portfolio.

Rosterfy will provide recruitment, screening, role matching, compliance tools and a central portal (with a mobile app forthcoming) to give volunteers a single source of information and keep them engaged. The Rosterfy solution is expected to significantly reduce time spent on administrative tasks, free LME staff to work more strategically, and support a sustainable, scalable volunteer programme across all LME events.
